New video: Cry me a river

[EN] After Stevie Wonder’s “Don’t you worry ’bout a thing” last week, here is a new arrangement, this time of Justin Timberlake’s “Cry me a river”. For this video, I decided to go for a 12-part splitscreen so you can see (nearly) all the tracks that were recorded. We hope you enjoy watching every little detail because a lot of work went into it!

I will be publishing the sheet music for this next week.

[FR] Après “Don’t you worry ’bout a thing” de Stevie Wonder la semaine dernière, voici un nouvel arrangement, cette fois de “Cry me a river” de Justin Timberlake. Pour cette vidéo, j’ai décidé de partir sur un écran partagé en 12 pour que voyiez (presque) tous les instruments enregistrés. J’espère que vous aimerez regarder chaque petit détail car ça nous a demandé beaucoup de boulot!

Je publierai les partitions pour ceci la semaine prochaine.

[EN] As you know, lil’ sister Laura Haydock released her first demo a few weeks ago, produced by yours truly. Everything from writing to recording to mixing is homemade and we are proud of all our work. Nevertheless, we would like to get this EP remixed as it would sound even better done by a pro! If you want to support us please buy Laura’s demo on Bandcamp for 4€/$4 or more and we will offer you the remix as a thank-you gift for your participation.

Tout de l’écriture à l’enregistrement en passant par le mix a été fait maison et on est fiers de notre travail. [EN] Last summer was hard work for me and my sister Laura! After Stevie Wonder’s Isn’t she lovely, we released a second cover: Toto’s “Georgy Porgy”. We had great fun shooting the video with friend & filmaker  Guillaume Mroz. Check out this clip where me, my doubles and several indentical sisters walk in a faux-sequence-shot around a living room!

After these two covers, we decided we had to keep on collaborating. And that’s exactly what we did: In a few days 6 of Laura’s own songs will be online, with my arrangement & production. Stay tuned!

[FR] L’été dernier était studieux pour moi et ma soeur Laura! Après Isn’t she lovely de Stevie Wonder, on a publié une deuxième reprises: “Gerogy Porgy” de Toto. On s’est bien éclatés à tourner le clip avec mon ami & réalisateur Guillaume Mroz. Regardez ce clip dans lequel moi, mes doubles et plusieurs soeurs identiques se promènent dans un “faux plan-séquence” autour d’un salon!

Après ces deux reprises, on a décidé qu’il fallait continuer à collaborer. Et c’est exactement ce qu’on a fait: Dans quelques jours seront publiées 6 chansons écrites par Laura, avec mes arrangements et production. Restez à l’écoute!

[EN] A few weeks ago, I was proud to present one of the 2 songs I have been working on for the last 5 months…

This week, I am even prouder to share with you this clip! The awesome, unusual video was conceived, shot and edited by my good friend Guillaume Mroz, with whom I have already worked several times. Enjoy the music while me, my doubles and several indentical sisters walk in a faux-sequence-shot around a living room!

Just like the Stevie Wonder song, I did the arrangement, played the instruments and mixed the music while Laura lent her great voice to make this song even better. Enjoy!

[FR] Il y a quelques semaines, j’étais fier de vous présenter une des deux chansons sur lesquelles j’ai travaillé pendant les 5 derniers mois…

Cette semaine, je suis encore plus fier de partager avec vous ce clip! La vidéo super originale a conçue, tournée et montée par mon bon ami Gullaume Mroz, avec lequel j’avais déjà travaillé plusieurs fois. Profitez de la musique pendant que moi, mes doubles et plusieurs soeurs identiques se promènent dans un “faux plan-séquence” autour d’un salon!

Tout comme la chanson de Stevie Wonder, j’ai fait l’arrangement, joué tous les instruments et mixé la musique et Laura m’a prêté sa belle voix pour rendre cette chanson encore meilleure. Enjoy!

[EN] Finally! I am very happy to unveil what I have been working on for the last 4 months: Not a live cover, but a totally new arrangement of a Stevie Wonder classic, “Isn’t she lovely“! I recorded all the instruments, mixed the music, and then shot and edited a multi-screen video all by myself 8-). As for Laura, she lent her great voice and made this project possible! (cheers lil’ sis’!)

Have a look and tell me what you think. In a couple days there will be another song, with an awesome video directed by my friend Guillaume Mroz… Stay tuned!

[FR] Enfin! je suis très content de dévoiler ce sur quoi j’ai travaillé pendant ces 4 derniers mois: Pas une reprise en live, mais un arrangement inédit d’un classique de Stevie Wonder, “Isn’t she lovely“! J’ai enregistré tous les instruments, mixé la musique, puis j’ai tourné et monté un clip multi-écrans tout seul comme un grand 8-). Quand à Laura, elle m’a prêté sa voix et a rendu ce projet possible! (merci la soeurette!)

Jetez un oeil et dites-moi ce que vous en pensez. Dans quelques jours il y aura une autre chanson, avec un clip génial mis en scène par mon ami Guillaume Mroz… Restez à l’écoute!
