In 2014, I arranged Mussorgski’s “Baba Yaga” and a bit of “The Great Gate of Kiev”, both from Modest Mussorgski’s “Pictures at an exhibition”, for a Rock ensemble. I thought the explosive riffs would suit a distortion guitar, and it seems they did! My friends Tom, Raph & Dam from Cool Cavemen did a great job performing their instruments at their very best and I played sax & flute on top to get the “Classical meets Heavy Metal” feel.
